We had a very nice dinner here. I had the pasta Penne con pollo verdure which was fantastic! The waiters were attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere. I'm from out of town but the next time I'm in Burlingame I will definitely be back.

Amazing vibes! Everything was beautiful--the artwork, the dim lighting, the candles, even the staff lol. Had a reservation for Saturday at 5:30 for a party of 18 including a child with a high chair and they had everything set up for when we arrived. By 6pm, the restaurant is packed and there's a lively chatter which adds to the fun atmosphere. The food was pretty good too, not the best Italian I've had in the Bay but pretty solid. I liked the prosciutto with buratta, the calamari, and the mushroom veal dish (Vitello al Funghi e Marsala), although that wasn't super filling. We were celebrating a birthday and they were also super kind about keeping the cake in the fridge and cutting it for us. Would definitely come again!

Cafe Figaro is our go-to local spot for Italian food and low-key date nights! The owner, Will, is awesome and makes us feel like family every time we visit! He also curates an excellent wine selection. In terms of food, you really can't go wrong ordering off the specials... BUT our absolute favorite thing to do these days is order the tasting menu + wine pairing! It's such a great deal AND the wine is nicely paired, showing off Will's talents. We always look forward to our date nights here!

Came here for an early weekday lunch and had a great time. The service was attentive and the whole family enjoyed their meal. You start off with free bread, which is always appreciated when you're hungry and especially when you're pregnant haha. The ambiance is kinda like you're going back in time to a restaurant from decades ago. It was homey and had the family run feel. The food was amazing and delicious. Will definitely be coming back when we're in the mood. I got the veal tortellini and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had a bit of everyone else dishes and theirs were also good -- the lunch fish, the lunch veal, and the linguini and clams.

I came here for a friend's early bday dinner. She had made a reservation & we still waited close to 30 mins before we were actually sat. Not to mention, the neglect we felt & on top of that they had sat another party right before us... even though we had waited first. It was a 5min difference, but still... that's rude. So for that, service was so so. It left a bad 1st impression. Although, when it came time for dinner they became more attentive & efficient. Food was coming out pretty fast too, which was nice. More on a positive note, the food was great!! It really saved the night!! I had ordered the calamari, & Caesar salad. Calamari was good, just a bit salty. Caesar was good as well, but it needed more croutons. & for my entree, I ordered the filet mignon pappardelle pasta, & it was delish. Great Marsala sauce!! For dessert, the choc mousse was perfect. Nice, light & fluffy!! Ambiance is small & tight. As soon as you walk in, you're already in the way of traffic. It def needs a separate, waiting area... or for ppl to be sat in a timely manner.

Café Figaro was a great dining experience. Firstly, our waitress Linda N was extremely kind and went above and beyond with our service. She spoke to us about where we were from and was so friendly! She accomadated our seating preference as well. The appetizer was delicious, probably my favorite. The cheese and basil were so fresh and the prosciutto was fantastic. Well worth the price. The entrees were delicious and very filling. The penne vodka was so flavorful and classic. The pomodoro with eggplant was great. Overall great vibe and ambiance, with indoor and outdoor seating!

We arrived on a Wednesday night, and the place was almost packed, which is a sign of good food I got calamari which was very good. The chicken picatte was a bit spicy, and the Ravioli was very rich and delicious. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. We sit outside, and it was great. My wife did not like the server very much, and hence four star. We probably will go there again though
